Shopify Plugin
Connect your Shopify store to NicheHunter for automated dropshipping fulfillment.
Overview
The NicheHunter Shopify Plugin enables seamless integration between your Shopify store and NicheHunter's fulfillment system. Once connected, you can:
- Automatically sync products between your store and NicheHunter
- Map products to supplier inventory for automated fulfillment
- Track order status and shipping information in real-time
- Manage fulfillment settings directly from your Shopify admin
Requirements: You need an active NicheHunter account with a Standard or Enterprise plan to use the fulfillment features.
Installation
Follow these steps to install the NicheHunter plugin on your Shopify store:
Install from Shopify App Store
Visit the Shopify App Store and search for "NicheHunter" or use the direct installation link below.
Install NicheHunterAuthorize the App
Review the permissions requested by the app and click "Install" to authorize NicheHunter to access your store data.
Complete Setup
Once installed, you'll be redirected to the NicheHunter dashboard within your Shopify admin to complete the setup.
Connecting Your NicheHunter Account
After installation, you need to link your Shopify store to your NicheHunter account:
- Open the NicheHunter app from your Shopify admin sidebar
- Click "Connect to NicheHunter" on the dashboard
- Log in to your NicheHunter account (or create one if you don't have one)
- Authorize the connection between your accounts
- You'll be redirected back to Shopify with the connection active
Success! Once connected, you'll see a green "Connected" badge on your dashboard.
Product Mapping
Product mapping links your Shopify products to supplier products in NicheHunter, enabling automated fulfillment.
Automatic Mapping
NicheHunter can automatically suggest mappings based on product titles, SKUs, and other attributes. To enable automatic mapping:
- Go to Products in the NicheHunter app
- Click Auto-Map Products
- Review the suggested mappings and confirm
Manual Mapping
For products that can't be automatically mapped, you can manually link them:
- Find the product in the Products list
- Click Map Product
- Search for the supplier product
- Select the correct variant and confirm
Order Fulfillment
Once your products are mapped, orders will be automatically sent to suppliers for fulfillment.
Fulfillment Flow
- Customer places an order on your Shopify store
- NicheHunter receives the order via webhook
- Order is automatically sent to the supplier
- Tracking information is synced back to Shopify
- Customer receives shipping notification
Note: Only orders containing mapped products will be automatically fulfilled. Unmapped products require manual fulfillment.
Order Status
You can view the status of all orders in the Orders section:
- Pending - Order received, awaiting processing
- Processing - Order sent to supplier
- Shipped - Order shipped, tracking available
- Delivered - Order delivered to customer
Settings
Configure the plugin behavior from the Settings page:
Auto-Fulfillment
Enable or disable automatic order fulfillment. When disabled, orders will be queued for manual review.
Default Supplier
Set a default supplier for products without specific mappings.
Notification Preferences
Configure email notifications for order updates, low stock alerts, and other events.
Troubleshooting
Orders not being fulfilled
Check the following:
- Ensure the product is mapped to a supplier product
- Verify auto-fulfillment is enabled in settings
- Check that your NicheHunter account has sufficient balance
- Review the order in the Orders section for any error messages
Connection issues
If you're having trouble connecting your accounts:
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting from the Settings page
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- Ensure you're logged into the correct NicheHunter account
